Situation Awareness for Crowd Evacuation

The eVACUATE project develops a holistic, scenario-independent, situation-awareness and guidance system for sustaining the Active Evacuation Route for large crowds. VirtualGeo technology is used to provide the innovative 3D Common Operationnal Picutes and Interactive Simulations component. Thanks to the collaborative work of all the eVACUATE partners, the final version of the system has been successfully demonstrated to the European Commission reviewers, followed by very positive comments. The last year of the project will be dedicated to on-site experimentations at end-users venues.
